About the Trek

The Trek to Bay Cliff will take 4 days starting June 17 at Rapid River Lions Club and end at Bay Cliff on June 20, 2009 on opening day of summer camp. There is a benefit baseball game planned by Ternary Lions Club on June 16th. Bay Cliff Campers, current and former, are welcomed to join in.

Gene will travel about 25 to 30 miles per day with rest stops about every 5 miles to allow the motors to cool down. Different organizations will serve refreshments at each stop. The caravan will have safety vehicles in front and back.

All funds raised will be presented to Mr. Tim Bennett of Bay Cliff Health Camp at a special ceremony on opening day.
